This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of social reintegration programs for inmates at the Class IIA Bogor Correctional Institution and to identify the factors that support and hinder their implementation. The findings reveal that social reintegration programs have been implemented through personality development and self-reliance initiatives, such as vocational training, mental and spiritual development, as well as assimilation and integration programs. However, the effectiveness of these programs has not been fully achieved due to several obstacles, including limited facilities and infrastructure, an insufficient number of correctional officers, negative social stigma, and weak post-release support. Supporting factors include the commitment of correctional officers, inmate participation, and family support. This study concludes that improving the effectiveness of social reintegration programs requires strengthened collaboration with communities and the private sector, enhanced quality of rehabilitation programs, and sustainable supporting policies.
